Google Mobile’s new feature to let users search without typing

Google can’t seem to stop innovating its search technology, and appears to have added a new feature for Google mobile users to exploit. Following their recent addition of the ”search within a Google search” feature for a number of high-profile web sites, this time they cast their eyes on the growing mobile market. Garett Rogers has got the scoop on this new feature. It’s called “LCB” or “location-based” search and it will allow Google mobile users to perform searches without even entering any search terms. That’s right, googling without even typing altogether! Actually, it’s more like a directory of I think the most frequently searched for terms in a certain city, and the searches themselves are arranged into categories. You can try location-based Google mobile searching by going to http://www.google.com/m/lcb with your mobile device. But don’t be surprised if it doesn’t work so well because as it appears, this is still an unfinished product.
