VUDU offers direct downloads of HD movies

VUDU has announced plans to team up with Universal Studios Home Entertainment to bring you the entire Bourne Trilogy in high definition (HD). VUDU will also be offering permanent copies of The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy as bonus movies when existing or future consumers purchase a VUDU set-top box. VUDU has promised to have more than 5,000 titles from all the major and more than 20 independent studios available for direct downloads to televisions that can be watched anytime without the need of a computer and software downloads.
