Windows Live Writer now available for download
Microsoft has launched a new version of Windows Live Writer, a desktop blog application designed to make blogging easier and can be used with Windows Live Spaces or most other major blogging services to include SharePoint, WordPress, Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad and Moveable Type.
With this application, you can create your post then preview the post in your blog theme before making it live, you can also compose your entries offline to be published later. You can add plug-ins such as music feeds and emoticons from Windows Live Gallery to make your blog look a bit livelier. Windows Live Writer will run on XP SP2 (or later) and Vista, you can now download the application here.
