Samsung stops selling electronics in Japan

I never would have thought that Samsung would stop selling their goods in Japan, but it has happened. Samsung, a Korean based company, is a well-known company in the U.S. as well in the foreign market. Now, they will stop selling consumer goods such as TV’s, MP3 players, etc. in Japan.
Samsung usually has no problem with the competition in Europe and the U.S., but they feel that the competition in the Japanese market is a bit much. Who can blame them, with giant companies such as Sony, Sharp, and Panasonic, it’s a tough market. Samsung plans to focus mainly on business-to-business sales there. Last year when they did this, it had amounted to over 99% of $9 billion. You may have or may not have noticed but Samsung has actually been gradually pulling out the Japanese market, and today made it official. Samsung still plans to supply their phones for the telecom operator, Softbank.
