German iPhone sales already reach 10,000

T-Mobile, the cellular provider for the iPhone in Germany announced today that they have already sold over 10,000 iPhones in the first day of sales.
Rene Obermann; CEO of Deutche Telekom, already expects that there will be a shortage on iPhones come the very busy holiday shopping season. However, to counter Rene Obermann’s statement, T-Mobile said “the company is well prepared to further meet high demand for the iPhone.”
Obermann also said “We’re not giving out precise forecasts, but registrations on our web site lead me to believe (the Christmas sales period) will be a strong sales period, the real question for me is whether we have enough devices and can meet customer demand.”
Let’s hope Apple can dish out enough iPhones to keep the Germans happy come holiday season.
